Our aim is to provide a space for intellectuals, writers, photographers, artists, funny men, and lurkers who just want to vibe. The struggle to find a space online to simply exist and partake in a communal environment has become nearly impossible in our modern world. We have structured our platform to resist the slop! If you want to surf the site for free, become a Civilian! The Civilian tier accounts are the wandering immigrants just looking to enjoy the site. They can post quotes, pictures, and even make forums. Forums are our bread and butter; miniature personal blog-spaces for users to engage in discourse about any topic they feel needs conversing about. We even have debate forums that take place over multiple rounds and are vote based so we can come to actual definitive answers. While Civilians can enjoy most of the site’s features, they come with limits: basic ads on the site, and forum count limitations. Once a Civilian reaches the point where they believe they are ready for the full ad-free experience with data protection rights that keep their information from being sold, they can become a citizen of the Society and join the Autocracy for $5 a month!
Those that want to join the Autocracy will enjoy real power and a massive increase in forum posting limits. They also become eligible for monetization so you can earn money for your posts through tips, and patronage. Members of the Autocracy have access to privacy that Civilians do not. They will not see ads, and their data will be protected and not sold. Social media sites earn money through selling data, but joining the Autocracy makes you a digital citizen of our community. We will protect your data from the corporate stooges.
When you join the Autocracy, you gain access to our point system. Members of the Autocracy earn points through their interactions on the site. Earning enough points earns you badges that give you privileges and power on the site. Badge tiers start off at the base level of a Neophyte, then Legionnaire, Tribune, Councilmen, and finally at the highest point count with the most power on the site are members of the Magisterium. With a badge, you can do everything from making universal posts that everyone can see, to making reports on behalf of the Administration against those breaking the rules of the site to help maintain order. Joining the Autocracy makes you a citizen of the Society and citizens get priority rights and privileges.
We wish to revolutionize the process of publishing safe and stimulating content, remove the barriers and gatekeepers from the paths of least resistance so that creators do not have to accept unfairness and corruption as the only way, while also disincentivizing the negative content that has become the norm on mainstream platforms.
